what is this I don't even

So...what's this?

Ladies and Gentlemen, I proudly present to you, my Contemplative Education Chronicle. Originally, it was supposed to be named the Reflective Learning Journal, but I thought that name didn't have a nice ring to it. So...yeah. Now, what will I write here? Well, I will be describing my exploits in the various subjects that I am taking this term. Also, from what I've heard, writing a reflective learning journal is akin to talking to yourself. Nice. But then again, monologues are a norm for me.
Business Studies 2
Business Studies two is the sequel to the first Business module that was done in the first term. This time around, this subject shifts its focus to the marketing aspects of business, so one could sum up this module as "How to make consumers part with their money 101". We were taught about how companies use marketing strategies to sell their products in different markets and the various factors affecting the strategy.Difficulty-wise, it isn't too different from the first module, and it shouldn't be too difficult for me to ace this subject. I hope.

English
As usual, English is the easiest subject of the term, as I am rather well-versed with the language. This term however, was more of a bother as instead of the usual tests or IELTS preparation, we had to do debates, presentations and worst of all, a 1500 word essay. I didn't really mind the debates and presentations, as I found them fairly easy, but the essay was annoying due to the difficulty of gathering information and my talent at procrastination. Speaking of which, I am reminded of this poem by anonymous:
"I am the bone of my essay.
Procrastination is my body, and caffeine is my blood.
I have ignored over a thousand deadlines.
Unknown to MLA format, nor known to passing grades.
Have withstood responsibility to fail many classes.
Yet those classes will never teach anything.
 So, as I hand in,
 UNLIMITED ESSAY WORKS"
If you missed the reference, look up "Unlimited Blade Works" on the internet.

CIT
When I was in school, computer classes were known as ICT. Now,in the U.K. at college,it is called CIT. Speaking of which, I'm still not sure what CIT stands for( don't kill me Miss Witherby), despite the term already coming to an end. In CIT, we were taught how to use Microsoft Word,PowerPoint,Excel, and Publisher. Also, we were forced to write a blog as part of our CIT assignment, which is what I'm doing now. To be honest, I wasn't expecting to learn anything new in CIT, having learnt ICT before, but I actually did gain some extra knowledge into using those software. For the PowerPoint exercise, we had to do presentations in front of the class. Well, more like half the class due to wonderful attendance rates. Not me though, I'm a good person. *cough*dohohoyeahright*cough*

Pure Maths 1(more like pure torture amirite?)
Inially,I was going to write a parody of the Major's speech from Hellsing Ultimate, but I was too lazy. So you'll have to make do with the standard expalanation. I have never really be on good terms with the subject for some reason, so learning maths has always been rather frustrating. Thankfully, it has been better compared to my previous mathematical encounters before due to constant revision, but carelessness gets the better of me every now and then. At the time of writing, I'll going out to the battlefi-I mean the exam hall for my maths test in a week's time. I'm really hoping I'll ace this one, as it may make or break my chances to enter the university of my choice.
